Rolf very friendly, willing to help you all the time. The rooms very clean and tidy, the rest of the house also and very complete, with everything you could need.

Rolf is a very cool host and the hostel was very cozy and clean and our room was very nice. When we come to Ålesund next time, we will definitely stay there again!

Kirkegata 4 was a phenomenal place to stay. Rolf (the owner) made the experience so easy and seamless. He was easily accessible (just a call away) and occasionally stopped by to check in. Very nice guy who knows the area well and had many great recommendation. This place was about a block from the main canal and basically right in the city center. This made it extremely easy to walk everywhere we needed to go, The airport bus dropped us off about a 5 minute walk from Kirkegata 4. There are a few grocery stores within a 3 minute walk as well. Within Kirkegata 4, there is a full kitchen, living room, dining room. All of these areas are shared, but it seemed like we had the place to ourselves basically. Felt very safe compared to other hostel/homestay type places I have stayed. Would highly recommend staying here.
