The Cadouin Youth Hostel is based inside one of France’s architectural gems.
A 12th and 13th-century Cistercian abbey.
Its cloister is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is a journey through time at the crossroads of the Black, White, and Purple Périgord, where one can set out to discover the greatest sites of the region, navigate the Dordogne, lose oneself in a picturesque village, or enjoy the natural setting by hiking or cycling.

Pleasant staff, we had no problem. And I loved sleeping under the stars on the terrace (because there is no tent but only one front) for 5 euros and the view is superb!

It had no wifi. The sheets and the room in general smelled bad, like a hospital. And the bathroom left to be desired because the shower had no support, that is, you took a shower on the floor and soaked the entire bathroom.

The hotel is right at the barbe stop, an area with a lot of movement, be careful with cell phones and cameras, it is a very popular area, the friendly staff only speak English and French, the old facilities there is no elevator if you have suitcases
