Hostel very nice for one night in our course.

Great rates for breakfast included! They had lockers for storage, people were always available if you had questions, and the place was well cleaned. Free wifi, and they even supplied towels along with bedding.

The entrance is cool

The staff is really helpful and friendly. Lockers in the room seem to be solid and safe. You'll have to bring your own locker though. The common room has a welcoming atmosphere and even has a pool table. You'll also have breakfast there which consists of beagles, cereals, fruits and jam (so it's quite good). You can participate on various activities like biking, city tours or bar crawls throughout the week. We didn't do that though since we had our own programme.

Nothing in particular

It was very sociable and had an interesting mix of people due to the location in French speaking Canada. I had probably the most sociable experience during my time in Canada when staying at this hostel in Montreal. There were lots of activities on offer as well. The location, although not the prettiest area of the city, was conveniently located - close to the metro system and a short walk from the bars and restaurants.

The price is excellent, location great just off St Catherine and 2 min walk to the metro. Staff are super helpful and the bar area is great to chill and meet others. Rooms are clean, comfortable and warm and the beds are pretty comfy. Free wi-fi is great and the kitchen facilities adequate. I'll definitely return

It's perfect!

I have always had such positive experiences at HI in Canada and this is no exception! The atmosphere is friendly and fun without being messy and dirty and full of gross people! The free activities were so good and gave single travellers a chance to make friends.my stay was amazing, safe, fun, comfortable and well located!!

I chosed room for 4peple. my room small, except that it is nice hotel. hotel is clean .I could talk some tourist.

The staff were great. Location was good and the activities and ways to meet other travellers really helped me enjoy my stay in Montreal.

The People, The Bar, Location

- The beds are incredibly comfortable - the showers are clean, - the kitchen fully furnished, - the breakfast is simple but good (continental: bagels, jam, fruit, orange juive and coffee) - the staff is really helpful and very kind! Activities are organized every night.

Very friendly place. The bar/restaurant is a great place to hang out and grab a drink or a bite! The breakfast is good too — bagels, breads, cereals, milk, tea/coffee, and orange juice!

Typical HI hostel, attentive staff and clean facilities with all the utilities. Great social scene and plenty of social activities on offer. Went on a walking tour with Gabrielle, who was bloody lovely and made the tour rather interesting.
