Antares Hostel

Great, elegant comfortable, incredible location, top spaces and design, very friendly welcome, with lots of services. A regret, the price which is very close to the price of a hotel, unfortunately the management of the AJ has become a business and this basically removes a democratic side (or else there should be a better price if you have an international annual card, is this the case?)

Recommended hostel!

The young woman who welcomed us was very friendly and accommodating. We were in a private triple room. Everything was clean. Very well located for train travelers (both very close to the station and close to the city center). Good value for money. Possibility of having a decent breakfast for free. We only spent one night but we will come back sometime.

One night in a Mixed Dorm Room: Right next to Nice-ville train station: very practical. Cheap night. Efficient welcome, bed, towel and clean sheets. Bad experience because dirty bathroom (other person in the dormitory messy and without communication). Very bad breakfast: coffee and sandwich bread, no fruit, no milk or juice, breakfast area not even set up at 8 a.m.: it's a shame. I do not recommend for the youth hostel.

I have been to this inn twice now; the staff is pleasant however I was very disappointed to see that after having changed my reservation for one night instead of two, they still counted my reservation of 36 euros with the refusal to reimburse me !! ! I am very disappointed and think that I will not return to this hostel.

The rooms respect the standard for hostels, but the staff and the services are something special!

I had areally nice stay there that i made longer than expected because price , location and clean and all furnished... nothing to blame about. Go go go.

The location is great for travel by train. Easily accessible from metro and buses as well. The rooms are separated and have keys in all areas helping security. Kitchen and fridge space helps save some money for food.

The property is located very close to the train station and the bus stop to the airport. The hostel offers free drinks at 7pm every night, which although we didn't use, was a nice touch. We appreciated that they included and replaced our towels (we stayed in a private room), and I appreciated the opening windows.

It was in a fantastic location! Just across the road from the railway station, a 5 minute walk to the beach, plenty of places to eat around, it was an affordable price, the rooms were all clean (and cleans thoroughly everyday), and the staff were just lovely and always willing to help out.

The rooms were clean, and had excellent air conditioning. Every night there was some event going on, so we got to know other travelers.

I have very good experience in staying in this hostel. That is very easy to get friend in the hostel as they have a free drinks event in the evening and also the kitchen is so big which gathering a lot of ppl stay in there. Just because I check in on midnight they still let me in, I feel very very great! But with this reason they don't tell me there have a kitchen and actually the kitchen is very hidden that not easy to spot it if you don't ask. But still good. My room is great the air conditional can change by yourself, that seen every great for me!

Just outside station, but I would prefer to have location between beach and station. Locker, locked cage benith beds.

I just spent a fortnight at Antares Hostel, where I immediately felt safe and at home; particularly important when travelling alone. Having arrived, I was upgraded to a four-bed room for no extra cost (the place was already great value for money anyway). It's location opposite the train station (literally) is ideal for day-trips in the area. The rooms are clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!
