Rossio Hostel is more than 10 years old, but since 2018 one of the staff member took over the hostel and has the same staff team for the last 10 years...We are located in a 18 century building witch are the world’s first earthquake proof buildings, the structure called GAIOLA POMBALINA can be see in many of the common areas of the hostel. We are a very chilled and relaxed hostel, we have all kind of guests from babys to grandpas too...lol...makes it a very unique ambience!

Important information
Like any hostel, we also have dorms with bunk beds, We have 4 people bed dorm and 6 people bed dorm, all with shared bathroom in the hallway.
Our private room are the twin room with 2 single beds and also the double bedroom with a big bed for couples or not! Also with shared bathroom in the hallway..
We provide free individual lockers and locks, free towels, linens and duvets and free cooked breakfast...

We are delighted with our stay in this hostel in the city center, close to everything. The welcome is warm, the staff smiling, the room clean with a view of the heights of Lisbon, quiet and atypical. The only regret is that breakfast is not at will or choice. You have two possibilities: pancakes or bread with eggs. That said, the pancakes are very good! We completely recommend this hostel !!!
We had a very good stay at the hostel. Great location in the city, you have the main sights nearby. It is well secured and the room was really good for the price. I highly recommend.
Good hostel, well located. Cleanliness ok but nothing more. In effort to do in the SDB. The private bathrooms are shared. The breakfast is really not rich.
Very good impression, very well located (close to the train station and metros, nice restaurants in the area), clean and secure. We had a shared bathroom that we were only able to use. Good address
Perfect location. Just in the city center. Convenient to all the places. The BEST OF ALL is that the staff is really friendly and funny! The guy called Sandre even invited us to see the TV show of his family! even though I could not understand any Portuguese, I could still feel the happiness of his family! My decision to stay here really made my trip@!!
Pros: Hostel is located in the center of the City of the Tourist area. You can get here from Airport via bus or metro station with switching line for around 2 euros or 4 euros bus. Staff was helpful and the relax room was nicely setup as well. Free breakfast is alway great as well. Cons: Not much of a con but hostel service is closed around 11pm or 12am till 8 in the morning for breakfast. that means you cannot go to kitchen or watch TV.
