Hostel Santiago Backpackers

The location was good, quite close to a lot of museums, landmarks etc.

Gorgeous building. Communal lounge was very nice as well as the outdoor courtyards. Location was prime for visiting the mercado and vego, the park, museums and nightlife.

Great location, lovely atmosphere, very helpful staff, brilliant facilities, and met wonderful people there, one of the best hostels I stayed in in the whole of South America

Location is good and people helpful. I like that they saidI could leave my backpack there when I am back to Santiago for a day. It is like having friends I can count on when I am there. Breakfest was very good.

Good location, comfy beds although the bunks are high. Lockers in rooms and rooms descent size. Had a yummy NYE dinner and a fun party. Bathrooms clean and water pressure and heat were good. Breaky is basic but the bread is fresh. Good areas to relax in and the kitchen is well set up.

We really enjoyed the pub crawl organised in the hostel and also the Free Walking Tour advertised there is excellent. The kitchen is really nice and the big tv.

The hostel is in a great central location, close to the Plaza de Armas, cafes and barrio Bella Vista. The rooms are clean, warm and dorm beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean, showers are hot and kitchen is great.

My best Santiago hostel experience yet. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable accommodations. Met awesome people and had a great time. Definitely recommend this place.

The staff are great here, really friendly and ready to help. The location of the hostel is great too, really central. There's a range of events and trips available in the hostel or that can be booked through them. The cheese and wine evening was a real treat!!

Its spacious and bright.

It was in the center of town. Alot of people who are backpacking use it alot which helps to catch up with other travellers and also to get other ideas for the area.

WOW pretty much the best hostel EVER! I Have been traveling since August and this is one of the best hostels I have been in! I came for Lolapolooza and was only supposed to be here for that weekend...and I am still here! ALL the staff is amazing!!!!! They provided a ride to the festival for us...and made of lunches, had an aweseom party for us with tons of magical jello shots! They have lots of events, so it is really easy to meet people! Plus Lita makes the most amazing food in the world! So maybe you will be lucky enough to be here for one of her AMAZING dinners!!!!! Hostel is clean, in a safe part of town, close to metro, a REALLY cheap taxi ride to all the bars/clubs! lots of common areas...I dont know what else to say...THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hostal is very nice place, staff is very friendly, nice programme during week, free dinner. Room was very nice, big, bed was really comfortable with small lamp- that was new, but really handy in hostal. Location is awesome.

The buena onda! The staff are fantastic, so willing to help you and are really fun and friendly too. The facilities are great, the beds are awesome, and there are plenty of activities to do as well. Close to the metro and most of the highlights in the city.
