Sunflower Hostel Berlin

The hostel is very nice, the rooms are big, clean and there is not too much noise. The bar is cool. The location is good for partying, the metros are easy to use. The bathrooms are a bit small and not very clean, but absolutely fine!

Good general organization, hostel very well located in the city. Very friendly and available staff. Functional room and original decoration. Hearty and inexpensive breakfast.

I recommend ! With a friend, we had a great week at the Sunflower. The staff are friendly and so is the atmosphere. The hostel is well located and reasonably priced.

The mattress tops are stained otherwise good bedding. The staff is very nice.

10 minutes walk from the east side gallery and a tram station. The neighborhood is all under construction, so it has noise early in the morning. But the "private" kitchen space for 3-4 bedrooms is rather nice.

Facade of the hostel under construction, which can happen. Occupation of the hostel to its maximum, no normal size bath towels, not very serious with small. Mattresses a little demolished, but cleanliness of the bedding. Sometimes a little noise at night, the boxes are next. Nice place.

I stayed at this hostel with two of my friends in a triple room. The room was very clean, but there was no running hot water in our room due to construction. It is a great location in Berlin. It has a very hostel feel, with a bar and lots of people. However, we were only there for one night and was able to get a good sleep in our room.

Perfect stay at Sunflower hotel! We will come back!

The hostel was in a good location, close to lots of good bars and clubs. Also very close to the train station so it was easy to travel to different areas of Berlin.

Handy to the metro, nice spacious room with balcony (6 bed dorm) and I even got a bed that wasn't a bunk! Bar downstairs and room to hang out.

Very good hostel

The atmosphere and friendliness of most staff. The majority of staff were polite, friendly and up for laugh! The location is ideal especially if you enjoy the clubs. The hostel is cheap and cheerful. You need to explore betlin so most of your day should be spent out and about but the hostel is great to come to and have a beer which is very good price!

Friendly and helpful staff

The staff is very friendly and hepls you everytime. I stayed in a 6-bed-room which was quite big and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, also the bedclothes that you receive at the reception. The reception is occupied 24/7! The hostel is close to a supermarket which closes at midnight and to the station Warschauer Straße which is really good connected.

best hostel I've been to for the value! (compared to others in Paris and Marseille) Tons of atmosphere, art everywhere as soon as you walk into the lobby. The walls are bright and very 'welcome to Berlin.' I arrived on the night of the World Cup Argentina-Netherlands match (rip netherlands) and a ton of people were sitting in the lobby drinking (high quality, very cheap) German beer and yelling. Hell of a welcome to the country. The staff helped me very sweetly and the room was clean, very comfortable, nice. You should stay here! They also offer a free 'alternative' art walk/tour which is nice if you don't know anything about Berlin.

It was cheap and the location was ideal, breakfast was okay and kitchen was good.

Close to public transportation, friendly staff, clean area, interesting neighborhood, and close to shops.

It was very friendly, both the staff and other travellers, perfect location, quite and like 20 meters from transportation and warschauerstrasser (full of cafe-bar-clubs). totally recomend it to anyone.

Cheap, in a great neighbourhood (Friedrichshain has lots of fantastic restaurants and cafes and nightclubs), with a reasonably priced bar and lots of info on activities, tours, etc.

The staff was really nice. The hostel is close to Alexanderplatz and has its own bar, which is also really cheap.

This is a budget hostel. The rooms are quite large (we had a double room). Breakfast buffet for 3 € with coffee or tea is OK. The drinks prices at the bar are very cheap. The location to the city center is also very good, walk to the train about 5 minutes and about 5 minutes by train to Alexander Platz that's really great. Suitable for larger groups or people who only want to stay overnight! For families with smaller children I would not recommend this.
