The rooms can barely be ventilated. In the kitchen, food disappeared from the refrigerator. The worst thing was the lack of hygiene in the bedroom, just the right cleaning. I shared rooms with some boys who did not respect the common areas of the dormitory and instead of leaving their personal belongings in their boxes, they left everything on the floor. After three days, it looked like a dunghill, almost impossible to pass through. Or the cleaning service doesn't come by daily and you couldn't see it; or passing by every day and seeing it did not take the appropriate actions. Finally I had to complain and the establishment's administration did not recognize their part of the responsibility. From administration, they told me that they had no knowledge, I keep wondering if it is because the cleaning did not happen or they passed on informing and they closed their eyes. Not to mention that there were alcoholic beverages in the bedroom, which were prohibited.

Friendly hostel but inappropriate cuisine given the number of people accommodated. Top location

The hostel is not very clean, dust behind the bed and window that we could not open even though there were 10 of us in the room. I could hear pees from the room above me, plus the spring bed I didn't sleep well. The kitchen only has two electric hotplates and a microwave for the whole hostel, that's not a kitchen... There isn't really a comfortable common space to meet and be comfortable. On the positive side, the hostel is located in a great area and the staff are lovely.

Clean, quiet and functional hostel.

The hostel had a fun sports-themed decoration, clean dorms and reactive receptionists. It was well-situated, and for a quite affordable price. My only reserve is their payment options : only cash, why? It was quite impractical, and the ATM they indicated took big fees (even though I'm french and withdrew euros). Apart from that, we had a good time at this hostel. The staff put all 5 of us in the same dorm, and moved us in a different room when our roommates had put their stuff all over one of our future beds.

Very expensive, they charge you for putting towels and on top of that they charge everything in cash without warning. Do not let windows open and the service is lousy. The only good thing is the location.

The place is not too badly located since a subway is not far but the place is not very welcoming... Very dark place and not at all warm, narrow room, a person passes between the beds. The lockers are under the beds, so if someone takes out their locker you can't get through. There are toilets, a shower and a sink in the room but the sink is in the room itself (no separate room) and the shower has no lockable door. The service is really minimal and if you want to leave your bag before check-in or after check-out you have to pay 5€ more, all that for your bag to be put in a common closet where anyone can leave with...

We slept in a room of 12 and all went very well I recommend

It is a perfect hostel for traveling alone or in groups. I didn't see much of an atmosphere in the hostel itself, most of the people were adult men or groups of young people who lived outside the hostel. As a girl, I went alone, and I didn't feel unsafe at all, but it's true that all my roommates were men.

nice place, services as expected but the cleaning ladies for two days in a row came into the room to clean while we all slept and, not caring about us sleeping, they cleaned making a great noise waking us all up.

I had high expectations for this hostel after having stepped foot in many because of the photos and description it had. The receptionists are very rude. Both on our arrival, during the stay and when leaving the hostel. You asked them for some information and they answered you with reluctance. In one of them, asking for a recommendation for a bar or place to have a drink, the answer was to “walk the street and discover that I am young”, something that I see as totally out of place, regardless of my age. Unheard.

Our experience has been excellent, mainly thanks to Marta at reception! They gave us brand new sheets, the cleanliness conditions were good and the location is great for sightseeing on foot as everything is usually a 15 to 30 minute walk away. It is a very youthful atmosphere and there is movement all the time!

Imagine booking a room for 8, to spend the weekend with your friends and finally find yourself split into several rooms for no reason... And when you try to solve this problem, nothing is ever possible

Very nice and large hostel BUT very poor room management. The beds are not assigned to you until you arrive which can lead to very nasty surprises. Indeed, I went to celebrate New Years with a girlfriend and there, surprised, someone is sleeping in my bed and literally stole my things. I was able to get my things but not my bed because according to the reception "there is nothing we can do about it". The fact that there are 13 people in a dormitory of 12 is inadmissible. After 30 minutes of battle we finally managed to be changed rooms. BRIEF what to start the year well. There is 0 privacy, the showers in the rooms do not even lock, not very pleasant in a mixed room.

Only flaw air conditioning in front of the bed and inability to open windows

The hostel is nice but the rooms are very dirty and even if they give "new" sheets they are still full of hair and stained. Not to mention the beds and mattresses where we found everything. Too bad because the rest I repeat is very nice and great location.

The best people are in this hostel are cleaning staff. First they greet d people when they see someone n about cleaning they do fantastic job. Kitchen is ok n very tiny compare to this big hostel. There is no spoons, glasses , forks and enough plates are in the kitchen. Hostel is good for kids come with their guide and prepaid food packages. Location n cleanliness of this hostel is fantabulous. If hostel management brings enough kitchen n dining stuff and reception with their proper hospitality knowledge then this hostel reach 5 star goals otherwise it’s very difficult. One more good thing of hostel is their room prises are reasonable n affordable.

Warm place, too bad the rooms on the ground floor are condemned (too humid and the particular smell) very good for people who visit Barcelona with friends
