From the Bus station: From the metro station take Line 1 (red line) to the Baquedano metro station, or pick any bus on Alameda (Av. Libertador Bernardo O´Higgins) that says Plaza Italia. As you can see in the map above we are only a couple of blocks away from Plaza Italia and Baquedano metro station (we recommend you print the map and these instructions). For reference Coronel Santiago Bueras is parallel to Merced st. and in between Irene Morales and Estados Unidos streets. This is the cheapest.

Atmosphere, location
Best location for my needs in Santiago, kitchen with everything you may need, high level security, very helpful staff, spacious rooms, nice inner court Would recommend Hostal Forestal to anyone
Able to check in before time. Comfortable sitting, reading area.

perfect location, close to everthing. Nice Staff and great Breakfast (best in the last weeks!) Rooms are good and have big lockers for everthing. Lots of areas to hang out and 3 computers for internet.
The location was good. On a fairly quiet street but very close to bus and subway. The common areas are very nice. It seems to be where most of the investment goes.
The workers and the place
very nice hostel suitable for all travallers great location. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is the best i have had yet on my travels. hot showers.
The hostel is very clean, staff are very helpful. It is in a great location near to the center and the trendy Bellavista area. The TV room area is great and the kitchen has everything you need...though decent pots and pans with handles would be helpful
