My friend and I had ham and cheese stolen that we had labeled and dated as requested for everyone. Also, when we asked the bartender to serve us a spritz cocktail, he was unable to do it and had to look up the recipe on the internet. The cocktail failed, he still asked us to pay. A little disappointed
I recommend this hostel with my eyes closed; the reception staff is very friendly, and gives a lot of practical information about life in Prague, and even organizes free tours of the city! Do not hesitate to ask them all kinds of questions if necessary. In addition, the places are clean and well maintained, the rooms are spacious, which allows not to be on top of each other. Each room has its own bathroom, and it is possible to access a kitchen to eat which has hotplates, a fridge, a microwave, etc... There is also a breakfast service on site at a lower cost (6 euros). The tram is located 2min walk from the hostel, to reach the center in 10/15min. Finally, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you meet people from all over the world?
We have frequented hostels all over Europe and Prague stands out. A map with the places to visit is given to each customer during the reception, which is nice. The rooms are large and well soundproofed thanks to several doors, which limits the number of rooms with access to bathrooms, and the risk of theft. Only downside: the hostel is 30 minutes from the city center, tourists will need the tram, but this is not a problem for Barathonniens.

Very good
Good reception staff, clean room
Best hostel in my tour of Europe, the dorms are great we are not on top of each other, the cleanliness is faultless! go ahead with your eyes closed
We find a lot of young people, so it is very easy to meet people. In addition the hostel is not very far from the center. It is very well maintained and there are organized activities to meet people.
A very good stay at Sir Toby's; very pleasant, clean, well-appointed dormitory rooms and equally pleasant common rooms (kitchen, refectory, reception). The staff are smiling and attentive. The hostel is not located in the immediate center of Prague, but is very accessible by tram (approximately 10-15 min).
Staff very friendly, friendly neighborhood and great atmosphere, the tram is next to the hotel and the decor is nice!
Clean, warm and super friendly in a loving atmosphere during the November trip. Connection to all sights with subway and S-Bahn nearby. We would not know where it could be better. Just right for us backpackers.
Superb hostel with a great atmosphere and a nice staff. Great stay in Prague
Awesome Hostel
Long live Sir Toby's Hostel !
Atmosphere, cheap beer fun location.
Sir Toby's is the greatest!!! I met so many cool people and there was such an aweosme communal space for hanging out. Just like being at a friends house; a cosy basement with comfy chairs and a bar that is really relaxing. The staff are so so helpful and welcoming and there are even safe's behind the desk. Get the breakfast if you stay; its around €6 but you get pancakes, omelets, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, bread, cold meats, veggies, yoghurt. Best breakfast of four months travelling, and it ran until midday! All I can say is stay here.
you just feel comfortable right from the start, be it the staff or the rooms, a really nice place to be at
great communal kitchen with plenty of utensils and a great place to meet people and hang-out... very good friendly atmosphere
friendly intelligent Czech people who speak good English.
Social area outside, free BBQ on one of the nights. Lots of activities run by the hostel.
Everything was perfect for me, best hostel of my life
I like absolutely friendly staff and atmosphere there. The bar In cellar is just amazing.
Atmosphere and guest kitchen
Stay very pleasant great atmosphere, and room of high quality
The nice staff
all is okey!
I loved the furniture and all this old-style/vintage fashion, both in the room and in the common areas, especially the pub and the kitchen. I also liked the eco-friendliness of the company.
Super friendly staff, and very good value for money. The dorm beds have curtains, outlets, and reading lights giving you some privacy even in the big dorm rooms. The pub is lively, and the wifi is great. I also liked that it was in a non-touristy part of town, giving it a very real and authentic feel to your Prague experience, after leaving the busy city centre. (also, everything is cheaper in this neighborhood too, so you don't have to pay tourist prices). Felt very safe and secure.
best staff
The rooms are really nice, with good decoration. The all you can eat breakfast is really good and the common areas are amazing. I had a really good time there.
There were kitchen, bar with great atmosphere, friendly staff and very comfortable bed.
The price for the room was great.
the absolut best hostel I´ve ever been...very clean, very friendly !!! we just loved it to stay there
I love the atmosphere, the friendly people, who are talkative, easygoing and helpful. It's clean, comfortable and friendly. And the price is more than reasonable.
I had an amazing time at Sir Toby's (maybe spent too much time at the hostel pub though ha!). Very chill place, and easiest hostel for making friends and meeting people that I've ever been to. Staff were amazing, and one of the best breakfasts value for money that I've had at a hostel--make your own omelettes/pancakes/sandwiches. Comfy beds, not too far away from downtown, and advantageously in the non-touristy and less expensive section of town. Three thumbs up!
very complete and friendly hostel
The basement bar was awesome
awesome, respectful, good atmosphere, close to people
Very nice.
, The beds where comfortable, the bar and its events had a great atmosohere, they sell tram tickets at reception and the breakfast deal is great value and runs til 12pm!
Staff are so friendly & put on events every evening (including free bbqs!) which makes it such great value. The bar is so cozy and prices are great. Everything is spotless and the beds are super comfy (I stayed in a 5 bed dorm). The garden is really lovely too. It's a wonderful place, a short tram ride from the centre which really is no hassle. The breakfast is also amazing!
It's incredible how easy it is to meet people. Even the staff will draw you into conversation with random guests just whenever you're nearby.
The staff were incredibly friendly and have excellent information regarding the city on arrival. Very close to public transport links to the centre of Prague and many shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.
