Easily accessible establishment, well organized, pleasant staff!

I found it to be value for money and have no complaints.

At first I had the feeling that there was a strange smell in the hall. But ultimately I didn't feel any discomfort. Other than that, it was perfect. It was a very beautiful place with a garden behind and a large esplanade in front where there were lots of children playing. There are two very nice bistros nearby, a little further to the left of the Auberge where you eat very well. I enjoyed getting lost in the Rue de l'Olive not far away to go have a coffee near the Chapelle covered market. It is a mixed neighborhood where life is good.

We had a good stay and the staff was attentive. I recommend this accommodation.

Very friendly reception and very clean rooms and common areas. Unfortunately the (only) coffee machine didn't work for 3 days ,-(, luckily there is a great café right next door. Breakfast is OK. Earplugs are ESSENTIAL at night, firstly because of the teenagers inside and the residents who party loudly until the morning :-((

Possibility of storing your belongings in secure lockers, clean room at night, peace and quiet are respected, excellent breakfast with wide opening hours.

Youth hostel with an interesting concept. A stone's throw from the venue 104 rue d'Aubervilliers, a third cultural venue, open to all artistic productions. Metro station nearby.

The hostel is pleasant, the welcome warm and simple and the space shared with a bar, very friendly. My private room was spacious and the bedding was very good. The shower is simple and the hot water is slow to arrive and the numerous toilets on the floor are differently clean depending on how the neighborhood uses them but are spotless every morning. The breakfasts are good and plentiful.

The accommodation was very dirty, especially the kitchen, which was lacking in any way adequate equipment and those present were almost unusable due to wear and tear. The staff is not at all helpful, in fact almost arrogant. Cleanliness inside the rooms was non-existent. At least the breakfast wasn't bad, but they can improve

Family stay to explore Paris. Hearty breakfast.

Short stay with my 7 year old son. We loved the hostel and its terrace overlooking the covered park ??. The neighborhood is super lively. Close to Place de La Chapelle, it is also very well connected whether by metro, RER or bus.

It has a very good value for money. We reserved a private room and we expected a small one without a bathroom but it was quite spacious with a good private bathroom and very bright. The facilities looked very new and the staff very polite.

Excellent place, according to the price, good atmosphere inside the hostel, close to a metro station, if you are looking for something economical it is a very good option. Excellent breakfast.

nickel, stayed one night and zero problem

I am new to a youth hostel, I found the place pleasant, the welcome friendly. Good breakfast. There are guard type staff, I was kindly checked in the hostel, to check that I had a room card. For a situation that makes sense to me, so ok with that.

Friendly welcome, clean and decent room. Staff present and accompanying. Catering at the top. Warm setting. Easy access. Lack of a real shower curtain and a squeegee in the bathroom, or something that prevents the bathroom from flooding.

Very welcoming hostel. We feel good there. Simple comfort of the room Kindness of the staff. Cleanliness. Good breakfasts. Good organisation. Security assured in the hostel. Neighborhood that can be shocking when you arrive where you have to be vigilant, especially around the La Chapelle metro station.

The materials are comforting. I regretted not being able to see the park behind given my schedule

Very well. A bit far from the historic center. A bit noisy some nights. Our quadruple room was spacious with bathroom and WC. Congratulations for this great project. Friendly welcome.

Interesting and inspiring eco-responsible approach. I discovered the very explanatory "welcome" booklet just before leaving, too bad. On this theme and waste reduction: after having explored with grad pleasure the park/garden below and behind the hostel and seen the compost bins, I wondered if the kitchens recycle their organic waste into compost? Very pleasant bar and terraces with greenery. Thank you for the luggage storage, much appreciated Not knowing Paris at all, I thought I would be closer to Montmartre... Access via "La Chapelle" station is not recommended for me at night

The room was as pictured, everything was as explained on the website. Only the location of the hostel bothered us, the area is not very frequentable, especially at night.

No hot water in the room 2 days out of 3. While I chose a room with a private bathroom, I was offered to take the shared showers in the hallway. In compensation, they offer me a towel and they explain to me that the water is cold because it is an ecological building and that nothing can be adjusted. I really feel like I'm being taken for a fool. The next day at the reception, I am finally told that it is not normal to have cold water but that nothing can be done. In the evening the water is finally warm but the next day it is again the cold shower.

I recommend

The hostel was very good, very clean, with a modern and pleasant building, ecologically adapted, and with sufficient comfort elements in the room. Only the neighborhood around can possibly discourage a little, especially for a woman traveling alone, but in the end no particular incident to report, and it is both close to transport and interesting places like Montmartre or the Canal St Martin.

very good reception however a major problem to be solved: the noise of the neighboring bars which broadcast music late in the evening (on the 21 nights of March 25 and 26). Insist with the neighbors to respect the legal hours otherwise you will lose customers. Pity ! the hostel project is remarkable.

We were able to check in almost 6 hours early (which was great relief for our jet lagged bodies), and were even upgraded to a bigger room! The free breakfast was wonderful: croissants, bread, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. We quite enjoyed our stay. The only downsides to this hostel were that the shower had essentially no temperature control, hand soap was not provided, and wifi is only available in the common areas (not in the rooms). Nonetheless we would definitely stay here again!
