In addition to being close to the center of Montreal and a metro station, this hostel offers a high-end stay. The dormitories are large, the common areas are clean, there is space to cook, wash dishes and relax.

We were warmly welcomed by Nicolas who showed us the comfortable dormitories. The youth hostel is clean and warm, equipped with all amenities. The jacuzzis on the rooftop are pleasant when it is hot.

My boyfriend and I rented a room with kitchenettes. Very clean and up to date. Why go to the Marriott?

The customer service is so bad they give me the wrong room and when the man who was in 308 so angry they manipulated the situation like it was my fault. Speaking French doesn't imply that I can't speak English and the refund can’t fix anything you could just said, it was your mistake then you excuse to us both. I hope the manager can read this ☺️

The work utensils are not very clean, I had to wash them before each meal! But otherwise at the top!

Complete, calm, efficient, polite, clean

I recommend this hostel. I stayed there twice, in the meantime I was able to leave my suitcase there to visit other cities. The amenities are really complete, the rooms are spacious and clean. The hostel is located near a central metro station which is very convenient for getting around.

The services, the reception are at the rendezvous. The dorms are spacious and very clean. There are even jacuzzis on the roof. Well, in January you have to be motivated

A great hostel, a very warm welcome with very friendly and welcoming staff. The infrastructures are clean and well secured, we will come back with great pleasure. The "comedy improv" evening was really great!

The staff is available and very kind, they try to answer all our questions. The various common areas are well maintained and functional. The lockers under the beds close with a padlock to bring and are very large (room for a large suitcase and a backpack). Sheets, pillow and towel are provided, and clean. The rooftop hot tubs and hammocks are great. So many positive points for this hostel where I would have appreciated a few extra nights!

Great hostel for 2 weeks, top staff, good vibes and a jacuzzi to top it off :) The beds are a bit cramped and lacking in comfort, but for a short stay this is more than enough!

Great hostel with privacy thanks to the curtain and a beautiful bathroom in the room to share. Breakfast is good with fruits and eggs as a bonus. The free activities offered by the hostel are very good too. In short, a great value!

A very good hostel, a staff always available and super welcoming, very well equipped, modern and clean premises, bar, spa, corners to chill, a lot of activities etc ... Flat for the excursion to Mount Royal where our guide did not know how to go and lost us ... But no problem, I recommend 100% this hostel!

My sister and I spent 3 nights at M Montreal! A superb place! Very hospitable people, who give their all to what they do; a program of activities for the whole week ... The location is perfect, 1 minute from the main avenue and 15 minutes from Old Montreal. Regarding the establishment itself, it is top! Very big and especially complete! The rooms are spacious and clean, showers and Wc extra in the hallways. A super nice bar, a rooftop with 2 Jacuzzi, work rooms, others to chiller. Really great, I plan to return to Montreal and I would sleep again at the M, without a doubt.

One of (see) the best hostels I have stayed in! Friendly staff, located in the city center, good evenings, shows from time to time, very clean and extremely well equipped for the internet!

Everything was perfect in this hostel: the super friendly staff, the clean and modern premises, the large kitchen, the large dining room, the breakfast, the rooftop with swimming pool, the bar in the basement open until 3am. When in the dormitories, I've never seen anything like it: every bed, even superimposed, is like a mini-room with storage, electrical outlet, individual light, curtains to isolate oneself. Comfortable beds. A magnetic card gives access to the building and the room at any time. Secure locker, bring your own lock. Top to meet people when traveling alone or with friends. Rather for young people because sometimes evenings end late, the rooms have good sound insulation but you could be disturbed by your roommates. The hostel has a snack bar where you can buy a panini, a coffee or a cake during the day. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Wifi nickel. Near subway, shops, restaurants ...

Many activities are offered. The hostel is very well located with a very nice rooftop terrace.

I would definitely recommend this hostel - the dorm rooms are spacious and clean with ensuite bathroom. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent - the airport bus stops 2 blocks away and its near a major metro station, as well as being in the centre of The Village, with loads of restaurants and bars nearby. There is also a supermarket and liquor store just around the corner. Most of all, the atmosphere was great - I met loads of friendly people during my stay.

This was one of THE BEST hostels I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many! I really loved the location, the cleanliness of the kitchen area, rooms, bathrooms, and the entire place! The staff was extremely helpful, and very very friendly, as well... I really loved the fact that we could cook in this hostel and our room came with a small fridge, as well... They hostel offered many activities, and i chose the free walking tour, with Claude.. which was really great! I loved this place and highly recommend it to everyone... I stayed for 5 nights and met a lot of really nice people... Breakfast was included, too. Thanks M!

Friendly staff, great breakfast and location

The location is convenient to most attractions in Montreal. It is only a 20-minute walk to the Old Quarter. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. They offer a number of complimentary activities each week. For example, they provide free walking tours of the Old Quarter on Sunday mornings. There is a great bar in the basement with happy hour each evening. Private rooms are spacious and clean. My room had satellite TV and AC.

Honestly the best hostel I've ever been to! Clean rooms and common areas, funky bar with nightly activities and great happy hour prices, friendly staff, towels and soap provided in bathrooms, spare bathrooms on each floor if yours was in use. I wanted for nothing!

It was geared towards a younger crowd, had a very fun environment. I felt very safe during my stay.

The environment makes it really easy to meet others, and the staff were helpful and fun. One bar tender took us out to a club after his shift ended, which was really cool to see.

It's near St catherine street

M Montreal was an excellent place to stay. It was very close to the Metro and also quite walkable to the old city. The staff were very friendly and the accomadations were all super clean and comfortable.

Very good rooms and bar.

The room for four is confortable and have enough space. The front desk people are amazing especially Catherine (thank you very much, Catherine). She is a very easygoing person but all staff are ready to help you all the time. The towels are changed every day.

The best value for money hostel ever. It is newly renovated and includes a super water filtering machine. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is simply fantastiv. As mentioned later, we had to switch rooms to another hostel of the same company (also ok), but not to compare with m-montreal. All in all we would come there again - IF we can stay in the same building for the whole duration.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean. Also, the staff is very friendly. Surprisingly, there was a girl in the reception that was from Barcelona and talked with us in catalan, it was so funny!

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and were always willing to have a bit of fun with the guests. Everything was always spotless and fresh towels free daily to your room. Literally 24/7 fresh coffee. A great part was probably the kitchen, which is amazing and well stocked. They make the breakfast croissants there, which is very cool. The bar downstairs is amazing, and wouldn't be out of place on a high street somewhere. ATM (which accepts international cards i.e. VISA Debit) located here aswell.

This hostel looks even better than the pictures! Really really great decor and style, and the basement bar is perfect for hanging out. We had a group of 33 people and the M-Montreal was extremely helpful with booking rooms that were close to each other and fit us all in perfectly. We loved our stay!

M Montreal is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the beds were comfy, the croissants at breakfast were delicious, the location is central, and the showers are amazing!!!
