Comfortable, clean, nice staff

The manager was not at all friendly, on the contrary he was aggressive. The hostel was well located, the rooms were ok, the bathroom was ensuite and the toilets too. When I arrived there was a problem with the amount of money that remained, the manager did not want to hear anything, he yelled at me as I showed him the same thing he had on his computer. No understanding, tolerance, indulgence on the part of this manager. Fortunately things have settled afterwards. And that the nights went well. Not enough outlets in the rooms. It is too expensive compared to the service we had.

The rooms are comfortable, the hostel is well located in Cologne and very close to public transport and shops. I recommend !

Great atmosphere. Had a great time there. Near trams, pubs, supermarkets and clubs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us several tips about bars and breweries. The atmosphere you can feel in the hostel is very cool.

There are many facilities and the place is kept clean. There's free breakfast, kitchen and washing machine. It's walking distance to most places, right next to a tram stop, and many shops and bars just round the corner. There is no curfew and the common areas also do not have a closing time.

Really enjoyed my stay at the black sheep hostel. Nice big rooms, with all basic facillities. Has a nice breakfast/hangout room where you can socialise with the other guests, and it has a guitar, which is a huge bonus for me! It's located perfectly, and right next door to mcdonalds which is handy

The atmosphere, the breakfast, power outlets close to my bed, the lockers, the location for public transport, bars, getting fastfood and parking my car for free all day long in less than 1 km away.

Great community vibe. Nathan, the owner is friendly and willing to help out in all ways- recommends a great doner! The place is cheap and it's a nice location- if you want to stay on the 'new side' and good value.

Good for meeting people, clean and next to metro station. Nice outdoor area.

It was really quirky, the beds were comfortable and lockers were provided.

Wi-Fi works well, you can wash clothes.

There was no extraordinary thing

The staff were really helpful when I needed to book a bus in German and were very accommodating when I needed to extend my stay. The rooms were very clean and well set up, also the hostel came with free breakfast which was great.

It was very good, the staff and the people were very friendly, the hostel was clean and near of the U-bahn. It was really nice to give free pasta. The breakfeast was good. Thanks!

No a very special place but good and relaxed to stay

Basic facilities and in my humble opiniom just sufficient after all we are all back packers hoping to meet someone new.

too expensive and not quite what i expected- much less nicer than other hostels but very clean! and nice themed rooms. didnt love it but dont hate it either

Fantastic location! Super clean and staff are very friendly. Common room/kitchen equipped with games,and a guitar. Themed bedrooms are fun!
