Kex Hostel Ehf

Very impressive interior design. Its modern, and yet comfortable. The hostel is spotless! I hope they get to maintain that. We stayed for 3 nights, and the staff were awesome from day 1. Always had a good night's sleep. Wish we could extend, but we can't, so we will just visit again!

Modern, artsy, fresh. Super duper beautiful, and comfortable. Cozy, and warm. Its just perfect. The people were very kind, and warm. The location is perfect. The beds, of course, and very comfortable. The entire hostel is clean. Just really nice. One of the best hostels ive been to.

Kex is a new establishment. The dormitories are clean and quiet. The jacussi and the free yoga classes are really nice

We loved Kex hostel! Clean rooms, lots of bathroom/shower options. Fabulous food & bar downstairs. Very welcoming atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay here!! We were able to walk to a local pastry shop and get around on public bus system right from Kex hostel.

Great atmosphere, they have a really cool bar and kitchen with jazz nights on Tuesday that draws in a large local crowd. Lot's of friendly travellers with plenty of common areas to hang out in. Great location, can walk most places in the city within 10 mins.

Great hostel

Welcoming atmosphere and a great social scene. Beds were comfortable. The food is excellent. Downtown is within walking distance. Easy to drive to.

The breakfast was excellent.

I've stayed here twice now and both times it's been excellent. Nice staff, amazing decor and stunning views and it's all still in keeping with Icelandic culture.

Very cool atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, great food, and very clean. Also a great location, within walking distance of most attractions in Reykjavik and right by the water with a great view.

Nice bar/lounge area. Although could do with a few more couches since early check in isn't possible Great breakfast (but please add Nutella) Cheap for Icelandic standards

The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and the rooms were very large and spread out which was great when they were full! There are lots of lockers in the rooms. The design of the place is super fun and hipster. The location is perfect walking distance to everything!

Beds were comfy and they were a great venue for Iceland Airwaves. Good Location and very big building. Good bathroom vs bed ratio and good waterpressure in the showers.

Friendly staff helped me with luggage, tour booking. Buffet breakfast was excellent; they offered it to me at no charge. Only a short walk into town. Lots of good local entertainment for guests (even the local citizens came here for jazz nights). Beds were quite comfortable. Security system (pass card) was effective.

Not much. The bar looked friendly but I didn't go in.
