Nicely Hostel

A most unpleasant experience, unfriendly staff, a tourist tax 2 times higher than advertised on booking, additional fees for LEAVE BAGGAGE before check in the day of booking or after check out, the day the departure, 2 bathrooms for all rooms, I let you imagine the queue if a person take a little too much time. A dirty and poorly equipped kitchen, an infamous fridge in which you can not leave anything without risking to rob it. NO KEYS AT THE DOORS and the code changes every 4 mornings, without changing at each departure. So AFTER my check out I was able to access the hostel for 2 days with the same codes. The beds are rickety, uncomfortable, and noisy as bunk and metal. The only good thing about this hotel is its location close to Alameda metro station ... And again, at 3, the uber are cheaper than the metro to reach the city center ... A FUIR !!!

The hostel is really cheap but not exactly what you expect from a hostel. The shared spaces are very small: there are only two bathrooms that are not suitable for a hostel because everything is in the same room (shower, sink, toilet), a very small kitchen and a small and not very pleasant lounge . You have to queue to go to the bathroom, so it's less pleasant than in other hostels where there are normally several sinks, showers and toilets available. The hostel is an apartment in a building, turned into hostel, so if you want a minimum of space I do not recommend. There are also no usual hostel activities: city tours, outings etc. After the price is very low so I recommend if you want to save money.

I've been there for one night, and the staff was very kind ans helpfull. You need to wait a little bit for the shower but with a breakfast, it's ok too begin the day.

Cheap host, home that does not speak English very well. We do not go for cleanliness, nor for being in the city center.

Deplorable organization when I arrived with my reservation made for 2 weeks : my arrival was planned at 8 pm, full inn, no availability and the person had cut the intercom of the building... Not really cool having spent one day of transport... I will not receive my refund (reservation)

Nice, clean and well placed. The equipment is simple.
