They say it's in the red light district but it's not like that, I asked for it by mistake, confusing it with the other Shelter
Cold room , no curtains on the window next to me so i had the lights from the neighbors room directly in my eyes the whole night, i was in a dorm of 18 girls , i think that’s too much otherwise the room has to be expended , no space to stand in the room

Good breakfast, nice dorm, nice patio and security provided by the receptionists. You have to be well behaved to come in, it is appreciated. The hostel was very clean when we stayed there, overlooking a quiet street near the canals. Also close to the Leidseplein with bars and restaurants.
The hostel is in a quiet area, easy to get to, varied breakfast, good beds, hot shower shared bathroom with hairdryer. Friendly team.
This Hostel is well located in Amsterdam. Not too fa away from Station Centraal. I recommend.
