The mattress was slanted, the pillows were deflated, the heating was on but it was too hot and we didnt get instructions on how to lower it. Our room was in the basement and the windows were not reducing the sound at all. The room was okay for the price and the location. The staff was also very nice, if you are a person who is used to hostels you would probably like it.
Functional room with a little storage, it still lacks a small table, ideal location in the middle of Manhattan!
The hostel is really good, it’s good value for money. The rooms and common areas are clean, as are the showers and toilets! The main thing of offering dormitories and rooms for 2 people is great too! But, here are the downsides: - the window in our room did not open, and knowing that we did not necessarily have time to air out during the day since we were not there, after a week, the smell in the room became very unpleasant. - In the kitchens, they only offer plastic cutlery for eating. So if you want to cut carrots for example, good luck! On the other hand, what’s great is that the hostel is in a great location! 20 minutes from Times Square by transport, 15/20 minutes from Tribeca and Soho, the same to go to Central Park. Its location allows you to do and visit many emblematic places quickly, since it is nearby.

Very pleasant hostel, ideally located, great welcome!!
Do not have a large suitcase or ask for a room on the first floor maximum ;-). Otherwise nothing to complain about, the stay was very good and the hostel is ideally located in Manhattan. Bring earplugs for better sleep ^^
Very well placed
The hostel is a little dated but it is clean and functional If it's for sleeping, it's perfect. The toilet flush was broken and I paid more than expected because I had to repay the advance I had given which I find more than average
The beds are comfortable but the whole hostel is uncomfortable and not very functional, especially in the kitchen. The wifi works half the time. And the bathroom is not always very clean and impractical.
The reception staff are welcoming and pleasant. The hostel is quiet at night even though it is in a bit noisy neighborhood. Cleaning, toilets, showers, corridors, common rooms, is done daily. It's clean, but there is a lot of dilapidation, faded peeling paint, furniture in poor condition. The sheets should be changed, clean but threadbare. Good for low budget
hostel ideally located in the heart of Manhattan, dilapidated but very clean. Ideal if you spend the day outside. Clean and friendly common, bad signal TV cable. Good value for money .
Small but well equipped room with locker, sink, closet. Very comfortable bed equipped with pillow, sheet. Towel available. Large fitted kitchen available with plenty of room to eat.
