Beautiful inside, so friendly, clean, well located, ...

Three days were just not enough. El Granado is located perfectly on a quiet street but an easy 5 minute walk to the historic centre with the huge Granada Cathedral and square. Activities every night. Such helpful and friendly staff. It is like arriving into a little community with other guests and staff just having fun and enjoying what Granada has to offer. I would totally do the tapas tour again and again. So good to get food for free with each drink you order. Tip: make sure to get to the lovely rooftop terrace that overlooks Granada and is such a great chill out place. I had to stay one night in a "glam hostel" as El Granado was full and it felt like staying in a hospital - clean (yes), social vibe (none) and everyone on their phones and posting pictures.

Outstanding staff that helped me plan the one day I had for Granada and gave me useful tips on getting a ticket to Alhambra (I didn't book but still managed to get in- booking is better though- saves you having to get up early), good location near the cathedral, supermarket around the corner, hammock in the patio and good atmosphere in the hostel.

The staff here are fantastic and very friendly. They helped me decide what to do during my time in Grenada. Also, the beds are really comfortable!

The property has a very nice setup. The private rooms are all temperature controlled and have TV. For the most part, the staff were nice.

The whole apartment was perfect.

Everything is good, the people who work here are fantastic, the atmosphere wonderful, excelent, the location dificulty better (near the most popular places), safe and secure very good, cleanliness magnific, great facilities and, in two words, value for money a luxury! El Granado was a great place to stay. The staff were great, willing to answer any question and help with anything we needed. The place has a really homey feel to it. The rooms were great too, we stayed in a 4 bed dorm and there was plenty of room, large lockers, comfy beds, excellent showers and wifi. While not a problem for me, this might be a problem for others: there's no elevator, so you may end up staying on the 3rd floor and have to hike your way up. However after walking around all day your legs will develop the muscles they need to make it up there, don't worry! The hostel is located close to the main part of town, a leisurely 10min walk to great tapas bars, shopping, attractions. I would highly recommend staying here!

The staff here are incredibly warm, friendly, helpful, and kind, and they really made me feel at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with El Granado - it was by far my most pleasant stay at a hostel. A fellow traveller recommended El Granado to me, and I will continue to recommend this hostel to anyone passing by Granada.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in in almost a decade of backpacking. I love small hostels as you get great personalised service. Freddie is really helpful and genteel. The decor is excellent - very tasteful and like a boutique hotel, with small touches like a little basket at your bed to put your odds and ends. The breakfast is a steal - €2,5 and really good stuff - fresh bread, good Ham etc. Student bars nearby which are cheap and great - I got 4 large tapas and 2 drinks (one alcoholic) for €9

Frank was very nice! The room was lovely with a very old house feel. Very homely. Good heating which is always helpful in a winter night. Wifi connection was pretty decent too in the rooms.

It was so clean and nice. Espacially bathroom was great ! Sufficient locker, comfortable bed, really nice staffs. Everything was cool! It was the best night in spain.

El Granado is a very nice hostel. Its small and cosy, very clean, has nice rooms and the stuff was so friendly. The location is very good too. We really enjoyed our stay there!

This hostel was a like a hotel in terms of qualitiy of service, clenliness and general presentation of the rooms (all these were fantastic), but it was also like a hostel in other ways the shared breakfast and common area gave a good way to meet people, the kitchen allowed you to cook if you didn't go out and tho you had to pay for the breakfast it was a good breakfast, and the staff were freindly and gave good advice.
