We strive to be one of the best hostels in Romania, where people feel at home while travelling in another country.
First Hostel has only mixed dorm rooms, available for those passing through and others who want to stay awhile and just unwind.
All our dorms are very well organised and have been specially fitted, so every bed has its own nightstand, plug, USB charger and reading light.

First Hostel is perfectly located in the Unirii neighbourhood with easy access to the best Bucharest has to offer.
Only 5 minutes walk to Unirii Metro Station (Piata Unirii), 7 minutes walk to our fun-filled old city, and 10 minutes walk to our famous Palace of Parliament.

Late arrival without incident, it is easy to get there on foot. The location is great. Room and bathroom clean. Only regret, the box spring was in the shape of a hole...

The hostel is quite nice but the fact that everything is done without at least one person at the reception to receive us and give us the keys, pay the rest due, gives an impression of insecurity, anyone knowing the codes can easily go back, to sleep there, afterwards it was not the case and everyone was extremely friendly, we created a very good atmosphere on the two nights I was there. For the price and the location it's worth it, but having someone at the reception at least from 2pm to 6pm would be really good.

The most remarkable thing about this hostel is its location, just a 10-minute walk from Plaza Unirii, but in a quiet area. For the rest, a correct hostel, according to the price paid for it. We had a problem with a locker and they fixed it pretty quickly. Perhaps the only problem is that there is no reception, and you have to go around the block for any problem, but there is an intercom to communicate with them if something unforeseen arises.
