Gardiner House Hostel

The location is quite convenient for accessing the tram and bus and being able to get around Dublin. The rooms and common areas are clean. Only downside being a room on the road side, a lot of noise.

The hostel is super nice. Even if there are many of us in the rooms, there is enough space to put your belongings without disturbing others. The bathrooms are very clean and the common area is pleasant. A great breakfast!!

Very well located hostel, about fifteen minutes walk from the center of Dublin. Pleasant staff, clean premises.

The welcome was great, the dormitory very good. The bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was great. The terrace is very nice as is the decoration of the inn.

During my trip in Dublin, I slept in two different hostels, and Gardiner House Hostel was the best of them. The atmosphere is very good, with nice and clean rooms. I was in a 8-beds dorm, and there was enough place in the dorm to move and breathe. Maybe one drawback can be noticed : there was a small safe in the room, but not enough place to keep the suitcase safe. The hostel can also be seen as a little far from the city center (10 to 15 minutes walking to O'Connell Street), but we had a good time walking in the streets with the sun.

Very clean and well-equipped hostel, very pleasant and available staff, hearty and well-placed breakfast. Only downside, the large dormitory at 18 (too many) with little ventilation which quickly becomes stuffy.

It is a youth hostel with a very good value for money.

I was in a 12 pax room and I didn't even realize that I was sharing a room with so many people. The kitchen, dining room and cinema room are wonderful. In general, very friendly people. I would have liked to stay longer. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely come back! :)

This hostel was great: the places are clean, welcoming, the breakfasts are constantly replenished, several bath/toilet tiles, which makes it possible not to step on them. In addition, it is located about 20 minutes walk from the city center, perfect for walking around and discovering Dublin. The host members are all super friendly. I recommend 100%!

With an atypical setting, this hostel has everything to please, especially since the staff is there to help, tidy up, clean... However, travelers do not respect the place: noise in the corridors (until late at night), hygiene in the (rare) bathrooms... The quality/price ratio is not at the level for the private rooms, especially when you have the 12 and not the 23!

The hostel is clean, well equipped with many things made available. Located about 15-20 minutes from the hyper-city center by bus, with helpful and understanding staff.

It's a hostel as we like to find them: top-notch atmosphere with walls and decorations with personality. The only downside is that this hotel is relatively remote: 30 minutes on foot.

All the services indicated by the hostel are respected. The cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms and other common areas is respected. The only downside is the laundry ... where the machines are often occupied by staff for bed linen, which does not leave a lot of room for others and the machines are very very long ...

We have a pleasant stay. The hostel exceeded our expectations in all areas: reception, services, room etc. Located about 20 minutes walk from the center its location is quite satisfactory.

The infrastructure is rather original, it is quiet and clean. At 700m from the bus 447 of the airport. We are quickly downtown by foot too, we recommend.

It was my first trip alone and my first real youth hostel experience, I was a little stressed but on arriving at the hostel the team was so kind and welcoming that my fears flew away! On top of that, the place is just beautiful and super clean! I highly recommend it !!

Excellent! Room at 8 but not the impression of being stuck like sardines, well heated so never cold; showers and toilets everywhere where you can spend as much time as you want because not necessarily connected to a particular room, showers always hot, sometimes very spacious. Many common areas wide, so easy to isolate or otherwise to meet new people, inside and outside. Security of access to the hostel, to the rooms. Very responsive and competent staff. Clean. Former convent, so the place is very beautiful. Hearty breakfast included every morning, tea and coffee at will all day. Large kitchen area with personal spaces to store food, refrigerators and shelves. Very well located. When we had to leave after 9 days to move in collocation, I was sad.

Super cozy atmosphere, huge lounge with netflix on each TV. PC available with free printing. Clean, quiet, great breakfast included, check out 11am which is later than any hostel I could do. Safety at the top, staff at the top. An impression of being at home with meetings and more. Terrace with BBQ.

I stayed with my bike in tho hostel for 2 nights just for sleep and no more. It's a good place for that. Thank you for your accommodation.

Friendly as well as an informative explanation of the facilities; the rooms were clean and the ablution facilities were excellent. The food preparation facilities were the best I have ever used and the dining room was spacious and clean. Tea/coffee bay needed a bit of tidying up at times, but that was likely due to the residents not co operating by washing up their cups. The lounge/internet was comfortable and the outside deck was a bonus for socializing.

Our stay here was wonderful! We stayed in the 16 bed dorm, so obviously there was noise from the other guests, but that can't be helped. The bathrooms were super clean and there were plenty of them. The staff is super friendly and helpful, there space to hang out is nice and the kitchen and breakfast were both great! Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24/7! The location is a bit away from the city center, maybe a 5-10 minute walk. Buts it was nice to be away from the noise.
