Hostel Dreams House

Arrived in an empty place around 5pm. After going on an urbex in the building, I discovered a bathroom that was not very clean, tissues (who knows what) lying around on the sink and mold. Then the kitchen (very well equipped) and the living room (very cute) with unclean fridges and trash cans that vomit because they are so full. Obviously it is not only the fault of the hostel but also that of the users but we should perhaps be a little more careful about hygiene. The same goes for the rooms, the beds are a mess, except mine but the others are unmade, pillows stained with blood, impossible to know if there is someone in the room with us. The walls are thin so you can hear the karaoke from the neighboring bar. All by myself delighted me around 3am :') . It's a shame because the room is rather cute (basic) but cute, that there is a small terrace covered with cigarette butts. It would really only take a little cleaning to make the atmosphere less gloomy and sad.

We haven't slept all night, the hostel is opposite a bar! Possible to sleep from 5am!

Great hostel. Clean and well located in Faro, it even offers the possibility of having a room only with women (which can be reassuring). The prices are very affordable. The kitchen is great, the bathrooms too (and clean!). Roof top terrace is really the little extra. I recommend 100%

I don't even know where to start. The rooms are super tiny, there is too much noise every day of the week (except Sunday) until 4am. There were blood stains on my pillow when I arrived. The fire alarms were triggered 3 times and no one came. We tried to call the emergency hostel number numerous times for different reasons, no one ever answered. There is no one to help you before 11am. They don't give you the locker key unless you ask for it. They let an homeless man sleep in our room, we were scared. He slept fully naked in my bed so I was a bit suprised when I got to my room. The three others (including me) had to sleep on the rooftop with the noise that kept us awake. I asked for a one-night refund, they refused and offered for me to stay one more night which is completly useless since I bought my ticket before coming to the hostel. There are many places taht are worth it living in in Faro, this hostel is not !

No air conditioning, therefore impossible to close the windows and therefore nuisance due to bars and fights
